Los Altos Hills - Lake Vineyard

Planted in 2006, this vineyard resides at a 450-foot elevation in Los Altos Hills, adjacent to a lake that was previously a quarry. The proximity of the lake regulates the temperature of the surrounding area, creating a unique microclimate. The soil composition in and around the former quarry consists primarily of gravelly loam with underlying clay, providing excellent drainage and promoting deep root growth. This unique terroir, combined with the moderated temperatures, produces a Cabernet that is immediately approachable with smooth tannins and balanced acidity.

Cupertino - Montebello Road Vineyard

Planted in 1997, with an elevation of 2450 feet, our Montebello Road vineyard experiences the effects of a Mediterranean-like climate. The region benefits from southward Pacific currents which originate in the Arctic and regulate the temperature across the Bay Area. Notable temperature fluctuations, with cooler nights and warmer days compared to lower altitudes are unique to Montebello’s high elevation. Additionally, the uplifting of the San Andreas Fault over 100 million years ago resulted in the accumulation of sea-floor sedimentary material such as limestone, shale and sandstone that helped shape the distinct geological composition. A confluence of these factors ultimately established Montebello Road as undeniably one of the most renowned Cabernet-producing regions in the Americas.

Corralitos - Regan Vineyard

Regan Estate Vineyards, owned and operated by John Bargetto, is nestled on a hilly knoll in the Corralitos area of the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation. It boasts nearly 40 acres of diverse plantings across twelve varietals and clones. As one of the largest vineyards in the region, it enjoys a majestic view of Monterey Bay and benefits from cool ocean breezes, contributing to one of California's longest growing seasons. The varied soil composition, ranging from loamy-clay to sandy and rocky sections, along with excellent sun exposure, results in wines rich in flavor and vibrant acidity. This unique terroir produces exceptional Pinot Gris and Merlot for our Rosé, reflecting the vineyard's commitment to quality and diversity.

The story of Vidovich Vineyards is the story of Silicon Valley. Our family- owned winery proudly honors our agricultural roots that span four generations and began when the valley was mostly orchards. One hundred years ago, we grew apricots, prunes, and cherries on our homestead in Cupertino and Sunnyvale.

Our founder, Stephen Vidovich, brought this longstanding agricultural tradition to the top of Montebello Road when he planted our estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in 1996. He believed, as we still do today, that if you respect the land, the land will reward you. In addition to our vineyards, our family proudly grows almonds, pistachios, pomegranates, raisins, walnuts, and olives.
